| [[Michelle]], a young woman living in [[London]], is going through her daily life without much motivation. She works at a local convenience store and spends her free time at [[Culture Shock]], a record store where [[Marty]] works, or with her close friend [[Robyn]]. She's still not "over" her ex-girlfriend, [[Leslie]], who broke up with her three years before the start of the game. She is visited in the middle of the night by a mysterious demon that calls themselves the [[Duchess]]. They demand Michelle's love and curse her with the [[Third Eye]], enabling her to see other worlds and their residents: [[Demons]], [[Angels]], and [[Spirits]]. Michelle must learn the truth about love, demons, angels, and the mark that loves leaves on the mind, body, and soul.
