Sorry We're Closed is a video game developed by à la mode games and published by Akupara Games. It was released on Windows on November 14th, 2024 and on PlayStation and Xbox on March 6th, 2025.
Story
[edit | edit source]Michelle, a young woman living in London, is going through her daily life without much motivation. She works at a local convenience store and spends her free time at Culture Shock, a record store where Marty works, or with her close friend Robyn. She's still not "over" her ex-girlfriend, Leslie, who broke up with her three years before the start of the game. She is visited in the middle of the night by a mysterious demon that calls themselves the Duchess. They demand Michelle's love and curse her with the Third Eye, enabling her to see other worlds and their residents: Demons, Angels, and Spirits. Michelle must learn the truth about love, demons, angels, and the mark that loves leaves on the mind, body, and soul.
Gameplay
[edit | edit source]In traditional survival horror fashion, Sorry We're Closed features fixed camera angles for exploration, with the ability to go into first person when aiming with a weapon.
